I need to be honest with you, the real reason I am even sharing this DIY with you is so I could take adorable pictures of my son. This DIY is really that simple. Baby Schmidt is only 7 months old right now but he is a super curious little guy, he loves exploring which leaves me to continue to discover new ways to feed his curiosity. I was at Michael’s a few weeks ago and was looking through all of the Easter clearance and literally could not turn down a bag of easter eggs for 50 cents when I knew I could easily make some kids egg shakers. These only take 3 supplies and a little time and bam instant play time. So look at the adorable pictures I took and then go make these for the baby in your life.
Isn’t he a natural model 😉
- easter eggs
- hot glue / hot glue gun
Plug in glue gun and wait until hot.
In smaller half of egg add 1-2 teaspoons of dry rice.
Carefully spread glue on smaller half of eggs rim and close egg.
Right as glue starts to get cold use nail or spoon to scrape off any access glue on the outside of the egg.
Wait until completely cooled and give to baby.
Peace & Love
