Cold Brew with a Salted Maple Foam
I have always loved adding maple syrup with a pinch of sea salt to my cold brew coffee, for some reason it was a flavor that always really worked for me. So when I had a break through moment of adding the maple syrup and salt to milk to make it into foam my mind nearly exploded… people this drink is that good.
The best part is that it is really simple to make.
This recipe works best when you have a milk brother at home. If you are interested in one below is the one I have, it is actually an attachment to my immersion blender and works great. (Plus it is multiple tools in 1!!)
If you don’t have a milk frother or it isn’t in your plan to get one you can still make this by simply using a jar!
By adding the milk, syrup, and salt together in a jar with a tightly closed lid and shake fast! This will mix everything together and create a little foam too! You can read more about that on my Steamed Milk Recipe.

Instructions
Add cold brew coffee to a large glass with ice.
In a glass measuring cup add the milk, maple syrup, and salt. Use a milk frother in an up down motion to mix and create foam. Once the foam is about double the milk carefully pour on top of the coffee using a spoon to help push out the foam.
If you don’t have a milk frother you may add the milk, maple syrup, and salt to a jar with a lid, close the lid tight. Shake fast until everything is mixed and foam starts to appear. Pour over the coffee.

Whole mill works best because of it's fat content, you can use other mlik but the results will vary.
