Italian Spice Mix
Italian Seasoning is a great way to add a burst of flavor to your meal!
Funny thing though it really isn’t something you will find in Italy but an American creation filled with delicious herbs and spices. Although just because it isn’t truly Italian doesn’t make it awesome.
This spice blend can add flavor to any dish.
I personally use it in my Tortellini Soup with Chicken Sausage & my Easy Weeknight Sausage & Pepper Pasta but you could also use this on a regular bases with Roast Chicken or Roasted Vegetables, and let’s not forget a little dash on some pizza?!

For a complete detailed list of the ingredients continue towards the bottom of the page.
Note: A lot of Italian Seasoning Blends will use Marjoram and/or Red Pepper Flakes as well. I find myself not having Marjoram in my house very often so I left it out and relied on the Oregano in this recipe (Marjoram and Oregano have a similar flavor). And for Red Pepper Flakes I just left these out because you might not want that hit of heat every time you use this blend, feel free to add some if you wish!
Instructions
Yep you guessed it, measure out all the spices into a container with a lid. Shake to mix together!
