For this recipe you are going to need two pieces of special equipment a food processor and popsicle molds. I highly recommend the following silicone molds, they might cost a tad more than some of the plastic ones but they are highly worth it, I have had them a few years and are worth every penny. This recipe was also tested with these popsicle molds so it should hold just the right amount if you have the same one. For the food processor I use the one that is part of my ninja kitchen system.
Ingredients
- Frozen Sliced Peaches – Okay so unless you are dripping in fresh summer peaches because you have your own tree during peach season I highly suggest using a bag of frozen peaches. Why frozen peaches? Because they are usually cheap, they are ready to go no peeling or pitting, and already being frozen they make the popsicles freeze better and quicker. Of course you can use a pound of fresh peaches if you have them available.
- Greek Yogurt (at least 5% fat) – Greek yogurt or plain yogurt, either way you choose make sure to use the highest fat content or full-fat yogurt you can find, this helps keep the popsicles creamy opposed to icy. A Low-fat yogurt will likely lead to icier popsicles.
- Honey – To sweeten the popsicles, if you choose to use a yogurt that comes sweetened you could probably just leave the honey out. I recommend tasting the peach yogurt mixture before it goes into the popsicle mold to see if you want it more sweet or not. Feel free to substitute with other sweeteners like maple syrup.
- Cornstarch – I have read that adding cornstarch to popsicles that contain dairy helps keep them from getting too icy and melting too fast so I thought I would try it out with this recipe.
- Ground Cardamom – Totally optional, you can leave this out or try using ground cinnamon instead for a fun flavor.

Instructions
Begin by gathering your ingredients and equipment. You’ll need a food processor and popsicle molds for this recipe.
In the bowl of a food processor, combine half of the frozen peaches, Greek yogurt, honey, cornstarch, and ground cardamom (if using).
Process the mixture until smooth and creamy, ensuring that all ingredients are well incorporated.
Add the remaining frozen peaches to the food processor and pulse until the peaches are broken down into large chunks. This will give your popsicles a nice texture with the chunks. If you don’t want peach chunks than feel free to blend all of the peaches until smooth.
Carefully scoop the peach yogurt mixture into popsicle molds, filling each mold to the top. Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold.
Cover the popsicle molds and transfer them to the freezer. Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least 5 hours, or until they are completely solid.
Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds by running them under hot water for a few seconds. Gently slide the popsicles out and enjoy!

Yes, fresh peaches can be used, you will probably want about 3 cups of sliced fresh peaches.
Can I substitute Greek yogurt with regular yogurt?
Greek yogurt works best due to its thicker consistency, but you can use regular yogurt with a longer freezing time. You can also use vanilla yogurt instead of plain yogurt.
How to make popsicles creamy and not icy?

Ingredients
